Desde hace varios años, Argentina esta inmersa en una profunda crisis social, donde pobreza y falta de educacion, coexisten generando aislamiento en grandes sectores de la sociedad.
Quienes mas sufren las consecuencias son los niños, por el dificil acceso a la escuela y la discriminacion por su condicion social.
En los barrios mas pobres, existen "comedores infantiles", donde un grupo de madres cocina para los chicos del barrio. Sus necesidades son muchas, y con la ayuda que reciben, logran llevar adelante tal importante tarea.
Unos años atras, junto con un grupo de amigos decidimos ayudar a un comedor infantil llamado "Jesus es vida",uno de los tantos que hay, donde mas de 40 chicos asisten a almorzar y a tomar la merienda. Poco a poco, se fue sumando mas gente para ayudarnos, donando cosas o tambien asistiendo al lugar y estando con los chicos.
Ademas de reunir dinero y ropa, o juguetes para el dia del niño, nuestra principal tarea fue la de apoyo escolar, enseñando matematica, a leer, a escribir, y para los mas chiquitos, distintas actividades didacticas.
Alrededor de 20 chicos asistian, con edades entre los 2 y 15 años.
Decidimos entonces, contruir un aula, que funcione como espacio para aprender, mas grande, con baños y cocina y que tambien pueda funcionar como lugar para que los chicos reciban su comida.
A traves de milongas solidarias y otras ayudas, empezamos a construirlo.
Por distintas razones, tuvimos que suspender las clases, pero la mas tragica fue la muerte de una de nuestra amigas, que iba con nosotros a eneñar.
En su honor y por todos los chicos que necesitan comida, comprension, educacion pero ante todo, amor, es que pretendemos terminar la construccion del comedor y darles un espacio adecuado para que estudien y convivan, mientras estan almorzando o aprendiendo.
Queremos que todos ustedes "apadrinen" a este comedor aportando un importante grano de arena para un mundo mejor y la felicidad de estos niños.

For several years, Argentina has being facing a serious social crisis, where poverty and lack of education coexist and generate isolation in large sectors of the society.Those who suffer the most are children, because of their difficult access to school and the discrimination they receive based on their social condition.In the poorest neighborhoods, non-profitable institutions exist, in which a group of mothers provides free meals for the kids living in run-down areas.

Their needs are numerous, but with the help that they receive, they manage to fulfill such an important task. A few years ago, some friends, together with me (Lucho), decided to help one of such institutions. It was called ' Jesus es vida' and more than 40 children attended it to eat lunch and an afternoon meal.

Little by little, more people were joining us in our cause, helping us by donating things, taking care of the place or spending time with the kids. Apart from gathering money, clothes and toys, our principal task was to provide those children with school support. We taught them mathematics, how to read and write, and prepared different didactic activities for the youngest ones.

About 20 boys, aged 2-15, were attending our lessons. We decide then, to build a classroom; a placed that worked as a big learning environment and dining room, with restrooms and a kitchen. Through charity milongas and other kinds of help, we started building it.

Different reasons led us to suspend classes, but the most tragic one was the death of one of ours friends, who taught with us at the institution. In her honor and for all the children who need food, sympathy, education and, most of all, love, we're going to try to finish the construction of the place and to give them a suitable space for them to study and socialize, while they are having meals or learning. We would like all you to support this institution, contributing greatly to create a better world and ensure the happiness of these children.

As you can observe on the picture, the area has lost of needs.

The hole are is inmersed in a ver hard situation, many kids have the risk of not going to school and many families can feed their children with more than big problems.

That's the importance of this Comedor Infantil. Children get together, eat together and have time to play also among them. With the construction of this new place, we are gonna give them also scolarship support, teaching them mathemathics and grammar for example. But the most important, we are gonna share moments with them, listening to their doubts, tanking care of their needs, and making them feel that people feel love and pay attention to them.
